CRAD – Centro ricerche su attore e divismo

The Actor and Star Studies Center was founded in 2012 with the intent to promote the research around the issues of acting and stardom in theatre, film, tv and media. The research center inherits a rich scholarly tradition built through major events and international conferences that have made the Università di Torino a widely recognized institution in the area of actor and star studies. The center has promoted a number of initiatives devoted to the study of iconic film stars – Cary Grant, Rodolfo Valentino, Marilyn Monroe – that brought together the Italian and International scientific community.
